Creating Faith in Our Creator

The Gospel of Mark is full of stories and examples of Jesus’ miracles, and emphasizes the power of faith that Jesus brought to so many who lacked it. Even though several people in this world will debate the authenticity of these stories, examples, and even the very existence of Jesus Christ, it is fear and lack of faith that prevent them from truly living life that God intended for us. This is not a place where I intend to quote numerous historical facts, biblical verses, and spiritual encounters to non-believers, atheists, agnostics, or any of a different religion to convert them to Christianity.

The fact of the matter is, I do feel saddened by the choices some people make with their lives. The ones who live day by day and choose instant gratification over reflecting and contemplating on how their actions, words, and selfish ways might affect their loved ones and others around them. The ones that would rather continue in their busy life, or more realistically, continue a pursuit of constant distraction from the lack of hope that remains persistent in their minds. If only they understood the inner peace and hope that God can give them. I understand that some people must reach a certain analytical threshold before accepting something as a standard belief. But God is more than a thought, He is more than the mind, He is THE Creator of the thought and of the mind, because with out Him we would not have the ability to analyze anything.
If you are one of those “on the fence” people who doubt God as Our Creator, and all He has to offer you - Let me offer you something to think about:
You are reading this post from your computer or smart phone. These devices were created by a company. This company has engineers, IT professionals, and several other important contributors. These people build, code, program, and complete various highly detailed tasks to create these products for you. These products were designed and created by multiple people that all had different ideas, thoughts, and inspirations that were created in their mind. Their mind was created by God, because He created us in the image of Him.
With this example of thought, all I ask is to open your heart not your mind to what God has already written on it. He gave you a mind to create, for He is the only Creator. We love because He taught us how to love. We are kind, because He is kind. We are strong, because He is strong. He has tried many things to change the path of humanity, some good and some bad, but all to help maintain the balance of the greater good. Though we all make good and bad decisions, He knows we are not perfect, and that we are susceptible to sin and temptation. But do not forget that He created us to be His children, not His equals. And in the end, He knows what is needed and what is not for each one of us. It is He who ultimately knows our purpose, our potential to do good, and the reason WE are here.
As God gave us free will, He gave us the choice to be with Him or without Him. To choose the Kingdom of Heaven or the depths of Hell. To choose His love, or to choose the next best thing in life that will temporarily make us happy. He knows that because of our free will, not everyone will get along, and not everyone will see eye to eye. But God also gave us all the choice to see past our own selfish existence and beyond our own minds, so that we can see and embrace the Truth. And the Truth is Jesus, the Way is Jesus, and the Life is Jesus. It is as simple as that, just that.
So ask yourself one thing, if on one side of the fence is God with open arms to catch you when you fall, and NOTHING on the other side,..... What do you truly have to lose to have Faith in Our Creator?
Ephesians 4:32
“Be Kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Mark 5:36
“Be not afraid; only believe”
